THR kicks off 2009 with 3 in a week!

Little Boy Blue kicked off the New Year in style, breaking his maiden in his first attempt over 1600mtrs at Moonne Valley on Friday 9th.

He always seemed to be traveling well throughout, and even a wide gate couldn't keep him from getting past the post 1st in style to record his first win.

         

The following Friday, Trojan Lass was sent out Favorite at Mornington after a solid run the week before in better grade at Sandown.

Travelling well throughout, Trojan Lass racked into the race perfectly and when pulled out 3 wide before rounding the home turn, she looked to have the race at her mercy, and once let down straightning, she stormed away from the field the recored her 2nd career win, eased down to win by a length.

          

First started Gildley made it 3, when on the following day at Bairnsdale he was able to win at his first outing to the race track.

Jumping out well and leading throughout, Gidley was able to control the race from the onset and never looked in danger, digging deep to record his maiden win and make it a very successful start to the year for THR.

With the confidence high, THR heads into the long weekend with some good chances throughout the next few days to hopefully continue the great start to 2009.

With strong chances at Moonee Valley tonight with Little Boy Blue and Trojan Lass looking ready to fire again and lighlty raced Mr Daff having only his 2nd start.

A more mature Indiana Junior kicking off his preperation at Sandown on Saturday. 

And with Madam Melba first up at Yarra Valley on Sunday and future jumps horse Cunego racing over 2025mtrs at Kyneton, the long weekend looks like the success could continue in January for THR.
