Class Prevails, then off to the sales!

August 14th, 2009

Stakes Placed mare Class Prevails (Delago Brom x Pals) won in sensational style when she treated her competition with contempt, winning by over 3 lengths at Tatura last Saturday over 1400mtrs.

Class Prevails, ridden by young apprentice Jake Noonan, was never challenged, gapping the field and showing her true colours and still, untapped ability.

She always seemed to be travelling and when she was asked for her effort, the race was over in the blink of an eye.

Class Prevails was then sent to the sales ring after that very impressive win, where she was knocked down at $47,500 at the Inglis August Thoroughbred Sale today as a breeding and racing prospect.

This continues the good start to the season by THR, and the good run should continue at Cranbourne on Sunday where 2 good showings are expected.

Little Boy Blue looks like he can go back-to-back, finding another race well within his reach and the improving 3yo Filly Ina De Lemma steps up to the 1600mtrs for the 1st time where you can expect a bold showing.

Now, with some nice types coming through for the stables, the roll will hopefully continue for THR well into this season and beyond.
