Madam Melba's break through win...

Madam Melba (Delago Brom x Dux of the Class) finally showed her true colours breaking through for her Maiden win in dominate fashion at Yarra Valley.
                             
Ridden perfectly by Dean Holland, Madam Melba jumped with the field and settled nicely, just in behind the speed.

Rounding the turn, she always looked liked she was travelling better than anyone and she finally was able to let down and hit the lead and was never headed, eased down to win by a length.
                           
It was great to finally see her break through and we are sure now that she has broken her maiden, that she'll have plenty more wins just around the corner.

Congartulation to the Whittenbury's, who have had an unlikey run of 2nds of late.
Let's hope this is the start of plenty of winners in the coming months.....
